A retail membership, a bank and a mobile operator all want travel data in their proposition. None of them wants to build a mobile business to get it. TravelRoam does that part, across all three, with the eSIM Go platform underneath.
Why one partner works across three sectors
TravelRoam was built by people who’ve spent years inside the technical and commercial machinery of telecoms. That experience, plus the eSIM Go platform underneath, means they can take the integration work off a brand’s plate entirely. The brand brings their customers and knowledge of their own industry. TravelRoam handles the mobile.
How much they handle is up to the brand. TravelRoam builds from components or from scratch. They’ll run the whole thing on a brand’s behalf, or hand over a finished product for the brand to manage. They can take on payment processing and support too, so the brand never has to touch the end user if they don’t want to. Retail, fintech, telecoms: the mix changes, the model doesn’t.
What they built for the Co-op
In the Channel Islands, TravelRoam built a travel eSIM for the Co-op to sit alongside its existing local mobile line. The Co-op already ran local mobile. What they didn’t have was travel data. Now it earns from that part of mobile too, for the same customers who already rely on them, and without dropping the standard of service they expect.
The Co-op chose a dedicated travel supplier on purpose. Roaming is its own kind of complicated: the pricing, the coverage deals, the operational detail. Handing the travel side to TravelRoam meant none of that landed on the Co-op or on its existing mobile partner. The travel arm arrived, built and managed.
Three years in with eSIM Go
TravelRoam has worked with eSIM Go for over three years. The two teams work closely, and the point of the partnership is simple: when a brand wants to launch mobile but doesn’t have the engineering resource to do the technical work, TravelRoam and eSIM Go supply it. The brand gets to go to market without any telecoms nonsense.
Their brand on the screen, ours underneath
TravelRoam and their brands never touch the wholesale layer, and end users never see eSIM Go at all. They land in a new country, their data works, and the only name on the screen is the one they already shop with, bank with or pay a phone bill to.
Underneath that: coverage in 190+ countries, one-tap installs, and enough visibility of each eSIM’s lifecycle that support can get ahead of a problem instead of apologising for it.
