We leave 2023 with a number of improvements and features for tracking payments and order history. These updates will enable you to reconcile your spend and provide valuable insights and data on popular countries and bundles.
Updated Notifications API 📄including improvements to page format and navigation.
Enhanced Order History Section 📋We’ve updated the eSIM Go Management Portal to include an Order Type showing top-ups and refunds, and a new Running Balance displaying live partner account credit. The export report now supports the option to export all pages, not just data displayed in the current page view. Note: the Running Balance is effective from 14 December 2023, so data before 14 December willnot be displayed.
Monthly Statement Report 💰At the end of January all active partners will receive a summary statement of the previous month's transactions. This will allow you to quickly reconcile spending and bundles sold and identify the top sellers. Each report will include:
Where a more detailed breakdown is needed by individual bundle sales, you can export the report from the Enhanced Order Section (see above). The first monthly statements will be emailed in early February.
Improved First Use Notification 🌐
Previously we had advised using the 1% bundle usage notification to identify when an end-user bundle had started. For larger bundles, a reasonable amount of data would have to have been consumed before the notification was triggered.
The improved notification is now based on the first 1kb of data. This means you can benefit from better real-time end-user alerts and notifications using the free-to-use Send an SMS to an eSIM API call (now supporting UTF-8 and emojis).
Additional features and fixes
Looking ahead, 2024 is brimming with promise. Our carrier team has been working around the clock on new coverage and rates, and we will have some groundbreaking new plans to share in the New Year. We are also in the process of finalising our 2024 feature roadmap and we have some big surprises planned that we can't wait to share with you.
As ever, if there’s something you think we should add to the next release, or if you have any ideas on how we could do things better, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team at product@esim-go.com.
